Student Educations

In every place in this world governments have opened many colleges to allow the students to complete their higher studies. In the UAE there are many colleges as HCT, some people think that students must pay for education at HCT. I do not agree with this, although there are arguments on both sides.
Students have to pay because the students will take more care and seriously in their classes, if they pay they will try to not repeat the course again and try to study harder than whom not pay for the education. Another point is that the college would have a higher budget which means better facilities and teaching materials. The colleges with get a higher budget and can afford new facilities, and new technology to use the newest in technology in facilities equipment. I would also argue that payment for education would support a larger schedule, for example, more and later classes and elective courses. Students can study what they want to study and at what time they want to study.
The main reason why I disagree with the statement at students should pay for education is this is fairer for students from poorer families. For example, a student from a less wealthy family has the same chance to fulfill his dream of getting a good education to get a better life in the future and they can help them families. Another point is that there would be a better mix of students. In other world, students would be from different families and regions of the UAE. I would also argue that students who might not think about studying would have a chance to get a degree than otherwise. For example, a student who might not have a chance to study could apply and get motivated to improve themselves.
There are arguments for and against the statement. However, on balance, I believe the arguments in favor of a free education are stronger than those against students paying for education.

Etisalat censorship

These days here in United Arab Emirates, Etisalat covers all internet and blocks many websites, because adults do bad things and open some sexy link and watch them. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of the topic.

There are several arguments opposed to Etisalat. The first argument is that some people feel that they should be free to decide what they watch or read. They want to learn more and know what’s bad or good. There are some people who travel and need to open some websites and they are block. Another case are some websites which have important things for health are blocked if you want to book some materials.

There are many people who are in favor of censorship. In our religion here we don’t want to teach our children some bad things. Some adults only search for websites or bad videos. Another point in favor is that many people don’t have very good language and this makes them look in problem websites and which talks their money. The last point about this problem some websites have viruses and it will close your lab or computer. Virus will damage your system.

In conclusion, both sides have advantages and disadvantages and I agree with Etisalat to block websites which affect the society. Etisalat must be take care about everything because there are some people who play around and open blocked websites but, it looks like block in Etisalat.

Visitors to Canada

This line graph illustrates the number of visitors over 10 years from 2 countries Japan and Spain to Canada from 1996 to 2006. Overall, the number of visitors fluctuated greatly over the period with more visitors coming from Japan.

Starting in 1996, there was a significant difference in the number of visitors from Spain to Canada. There were almost 300,000 Spanish visitors, compared to 850,000 Japanese visitors. The fewest number of visitors from Spain was in 1996. The number of visitors from Japan was 800,000, while 250,000 were from Spain in 1996. The number of Spanish visitors, as shown in the graph, differed from the number of Japanese visitors by 50%. At first between 1996 and 1999 the visitors from Spain had sharply increased to 620,000 visitors. The number of Japanese visitors remained steady from 1996 to 2001. In 1999 the number of Japanese visitors gradually decreased, on the other hand, the number of Spanish visitors sharply decreased. Moreover, the number of Spanish visitors grew significantly. Also, the number of Spanish visitors was the highest in 2004 and the lowest in 1996.

In conclusion, the number of Japanese visitors outnumbered the Spanish visitors during the ten-year period.

U.S. Number of Farms & All Farm Workers (1910 – 2000)

The graph shows the comparison between farms and farms workers from 1910 to 2000 in the last century.
First, the biggest change was the dramatic drop in the total number of farms and farm workers. The number of farm worker fell from about 14 million people’s in1910 to only around 3 million in 2000. The number of farms fell from about 6 million in 1910 to only around 2 million in 2000. After the third decade the farm workers decrease only one million whereas the farms were almost the same. In 1950, the number fell by almost 3.5 million for the farm workers and about half million for the farms. After two decades from 1950-1970 the line graph shows major changes in both farms and farm workers. The farm workers fell from ten million to around four million and the farms fell by nearly four million. By the end of this century the two lines stabilized somewhere near three million for farm workers and two million for farms in 2000.
In conclusion, the overall trend shows a sharp decline in both farms and workers in the US over one century.

Miles travelled in Wales 1990-2005

This table gives/shows to us information about seven different forms of transportation in Wales in 1990 & 2005. Altogether, in 1990 people travelled 4,740 miles compared to 6,475 in 2005.
Starting with walking, 1990 has 255,000 miles, while in 2005 there was a small increase about only 3,000 miles. Bicycles were also used in that time, but there was no big change, it was only about one thousand miles between 1990 & 2005. But we can see there was a clear change with the car users. There was 3,199 thousand miles in 1990, but in 2005 there was 4,806,000 miles of travelled in Wales by cars. In other transports like the local buses we see it was opposite comparing with the three before, because the number of miles decreased in 2005 from 429 in 1990 to 274 thousand miles. In coach the miles 54 thousand, but in 2005 it’s more than double of the number of miles to 124 thousand. Trains in 1990 were about 289,000 miles and in 2005 the number was 366,000 miles. The taxi also increased from 13 to 42 thousand miles in 2005. Finally all modes of transporting in Wales was 4,740,000 miles and in2005 it’s increases to 6,475,000 mile
Overall I think the number usually increases day by day, but we must think of the future live to be safer for the environment and in transportations.

Changes in Milk Consumption,1950 to 2000, UAE

The graph compares annual consumption of low fat and whole milk in liters per person in the second half of the 20th century in USA. Overall, Americans drink much less milk now than at the start of the period.
The biggest change was the dramatic drop in total milk consumption. It fell from about 130 liters per person in 1950 to only around 90 liters five decades later. The second major was in the type of milk drunk. At the beginning, whole milk was more popular at 120 liters, but it fell sharply to about a quarter that by 2000. In contrast, the amount of low fat milk consumed shot up. It rose from roughly 10 liters in 1950 to five times that in 1980, when consumption was almost tied with whole milk.
In conclusion, the American diet with regard to dairy changes significantly over the time represented. Total consumption decreases but low-fat finally outranks whole milk.

Animal Testing

Of animals undergo painful death as a result of scientific research? While most people think animal testing is necessary, others are upset by what they see as needless suffering. This essay outlines some of the arguments for and against animal testing.
First, let’s look at the advantages. One very positive point is that many medical treatments and procedures have been developed from such experiments. Since animals share many features with humans, scientists use animals to test the safety and effectiveness of newly developed drugs. Moreover, there is a large supply of animals. Some, such as mice and rats, have many babies, and there is no danger of extinction for these species. Finally some advocates think that animals are less valuable than people. If there is a mistake, it will not cost a human life.
However there are also a number of arguments against animal testing. Perhaps the most important is that animals may be suffering unnecessarily. Critics do not believe that every new drug needs to be tested on animals. Furthermore, some feel animal testing is ineffective; they point out that many drugs still have to be withdrawn from the market despite extensive testing. Last, some campaigners would like to see alternative used. They feel more humane testing is possible and, too, that we could rely more on organ donors.
To conclude, we need to ensure that animals used for experimental purposes do not suffer much pain. Although some animal testing may be unavoidable at present, treating our fellow creatures mercifully will demonstrate our humanity.

DRUGS

Nowadays drugs became a big problem and a danger in our life that affects all levels of society by causing crime. And broken families, not to mention the high expense needed to combat this problem. Now in this essay I am going to discuss the problems of illegal drugs use on societies and suggest some solutions of the illegal drugs use.

There are many serious problems with the illegal drugs, one of these problems is the health effects, the drugs courses many health effects like sickness physical and the mental, the inability to work, overloaded and Addictive. The health of person who takes drug is very week and at stake more than any one. That because, the drug demolish the nervous system and the immunity of person who take it. A further problem facing taking drug is the relation shape between him and the people around him like his family, friends, and also with his colleague.

In conclusion, although the problem of drugs may seem impossible to eliminate, there are concrete steps that can be taken to weaken the hold of drugs on society.

UK’s Countries comparison

This table provides seven categories of information for three European countries Scotland, England and Wales. Overall, these nations have few similar characteristics expect weather and language.
Starting with population, England has 47million people while Scotland and Wales total population is less than seventh of England. England is also the leader in terms of land area it encompasses over 130,000 sq. kilometers, almost double that of its neighbor Scotland and almost 6 times larger than Wales. Turning to climate, we can see that all three nations have the same weather which is cool and wet. Concerning terrain, England is mainly flat, contrasting to Wales and Scotland are mountainous. All three nations speak English as the official language in addition to English. Finally, the three countries depend on different exports for income.

To sum up, none of the countries has much in common. Never the less, Wales and Scotland share more similarities than either does with England.

Heart attacks per year, USA

This bar chart illustrates about three age groups in USA between men and women in different rate. Overall, the youngest people have the lowest heart rate.

First, the oldest, those above 65 years old of men and women have a highest rate both of heart attacks in USA between the three groups. The hearts of men rate in age group of 65-64 triple the rate of women hearts. In constant, the rate age group of 29-44 women less than 100 thousands rate of men. Finally the rates of men in the groups of 45-64 are the same rate of men in the groups above 65 years old.

In conclusion, the percentage of men took the lions number of hearts attack and growing up. In general to avoid this habit we must to make more exercise

The tow pie charts show the Spending on Leisure Products in the UK by Age Group. One of them for 20-30 age and the other group were from 50-60 years.


The biggest spending on leisure products of group 20-30 was electronic equipment 41%. This dropped to 38% in the other group. Sports percentage plugged from 20% in group 20-30 to 5% on group 50-60. However, the share for all other regions changed dramatically. The percentage of group spending on leisure in gardening doubled from 7% to 16% also books and magazines doubled in the same period. The other hobbies decreased a little bit. Only photography percentage remained for both under 30 and over 50 groups.


In conclusion, the percentage of spending on leisure products in books and magazines and gardening are growing, while the percentage of some products in electronic equipment and photography are unchanged or falling.

Problem and Solution

Nowadays there are many cars in Abu Dhabi and many people use their cars and some of them have more than one car. I think one of the most serious problems with cars is parking.

There are too many building in the city and a few parking only not enough for people who living in these building. One solution of this problem might be to make all people who want to build a new building to build a parking with it for the people who living there. Government could also consider to build more parking behind the shopping center and the mall and near all block they have to be a parking there.

A further problem facing large cities these days is the traffic congestion. In cities like Abu Dhabi which is making a new road and close more road to solve it that’s make a lot of traffics and many accidents. One solution to this problem might be to solve roads at the holidays or weekend which is no traffic. And make timbered road until the new road finish. Government could also consider improving and developing the roads and who solve the traffics.

In conclusion, there are some ideas to help solve the problem. The governments have to search for more solution to solve the parking, traffics, and accidents problems to help people. They must to make advertisement in news that helps people to know more things about the closer road.

I have a bad vacation because my cousin did a car accident on this vacation and he still in a hospital and doesn’t wake until now.
